No, it is not just another “Star”,.. this is going to be one of the main events at the 40-Party. You are encouraged to show off whatever talents you may posses - a small act/skit of your choice as long as you don’t resort to removing your undergarments. Entrance is free of charge and you might just walk away with loads of prices (not to mention new admirers).

“Boys” who are interested need to register with Damitha Samaranayake (Tel : 0773576795) before 12th July. Hurry, only limited numbers can be accomodated on a first-come-first-serve basis.

40-Party Souvenir - a different experience.

Posted by

Dear friends,

40 Party is closing in and the committee had decided to make the commemorative souvenir a little bit different to the usual format. In addition to program details and advertisements, we are planning to include a directory of names of our batch-mates including their contact details which will surely be very useful to each and every one of you. In addition to that, we would like to include any write-ups or photos you may want to publish recalling interesting stories or memories from our school days. So if you have anything you want published, please call Hiran (0712303907). The closing date is Monday 12th July.

Rates for remaining areas of advertisement on the souvenir are…

Cover Back   Rs. 25,000
Back Inner   Rs. 15,000
Back Inner (foldable area)  Rs. 10,000
Full Page   Rs.  3,000

If you are looking to grab this opportunity to give exposure to your business, call Hiran before the 12th to get your advertisement in.

Cheers,

Souvenir Committee.

Help our batch mate Sanjee Nilanga Perera

Posted by

Dear Brothers,

Our batch mate Sanjee Nilanga Perera (affectionately known also as “Big-Bird”) is suffering from a serious kidney disease. He has no option but to go for a transplant as soon as possible. The good news is that he has managed to find a donor. The bad news is that the costs involved in the whole process (approximately 1.2 million Rupees) are not something that Sanjee can afford. Therefore he has reluctantly agreed to the idea of accepting donations.

This is an appeal going out to all of you to help, in any way possible, to save his life.

His private account information is given below. If you wish to donate any amount of money, you can directly deposit to his private account or hand over the money to our batch president Mr. Manod Daminda (Tel : 0773640844). We would like to keep track of how much money was collected from our batch mates. Therefore if you decide to donate directly to his account, please also call and inform Manod.

Bank : National Savings Bank
Branch : Kollpity
Account Name : W. S. N. Perera
Account Number : 100010902853

Back in school, Sanjee was a student in Mr. Percy’s O/L class (9/10 G) and Mr. Tissa’s A/L class (M1). He joined the Sri Lanka Army immediately after leaving school in 1990 and to-date is serving the SLA. Out of his 20 years of service, he has served in the North and East for more than 16 years. He is married with two kids (11 year old girl and 6 year old son).

Please dig deep into your pockets and save the life our friend, our classmate, a husband and a father.

Thank you.
